Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the „Information about the controller“ section of this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, firstly, by you providing it to us. This may include, for example, data that you enter into a contact form.

What do we use your data for?

You have the right at any time to request free information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent for data processing, you can withdraw this consent at any time with future effect. Furthermore, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You can contact us at any time regarding this and other data protection matters.

Recipients of personal data
In the course of our business activities, we work with various external bodies. This sometimes requires the transfer of personal data to these external bodies. We only transfer personal data to external bodies if it is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. transfer of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the transfer pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the data transfer. When using processors, we transfer personal data of our customers only on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint processing agreement is concluded.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent that has already been given at any time. The lawfulness of data processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal shall remain unaffected by the withdrawal.
Right to object to data processing in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. You can find the respective legal basis on which processing is based in this privacy policy. If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing, including profiling in so far as it is related to such direct marketing. In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to complain shall be without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in performance of a contract transferred to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that is technically feasible.

You have the right at any time to receive free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, and if applicable, the right to have this data corrected or deleted. You can contact us at any time for this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us about this at any time. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:

- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection under Article 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from its storage – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.

Cookies
Our website uses „cookies“. Cookies are small data packages and do not cause any damage to your device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

If you have a Google account, visitor data from Google Signals will be linked to your Google account and used for personalised ad messages. The data is also used to create anonymised statistics on user behaviour.
Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the „demographics and interests“ function of Google Analytics to show relevant advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. This allows for the creation of reports that include statements on the age, gender, and interests of page visitors. This data originates from interest-based advertising from Google, as well as from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account, or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the „Objection to data collection“ section.

7. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter offered on our website, we require your email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the stated email address and consent to receiving the newsletter. No further data will be collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers for the processing of the newsletters, which are described below.
ActiveCampaign
This website uses ActiveCampaign for sending newsletters. The provider is ActiveCampaign, Inc., 1 N Dearborn, 5th Floor Chicago, Illinois 60602, USA.
ActiveCampaign is a service that can be used to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters, among other things. The data you enter for the purpose of newsletter subscription is stored on ActiveCampaign's servers in the USA.
Data analysis by ActiveCampaign
With the help of ActiveCampaign, we can analyse our newsletter campaigns. This allows us, for example, to see if a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, were clicked. In this way, we can determine, among other things, which links were clicked particularly often.
We can also see if certain predefined actions have been performed after opening/clicking (conversion rate). For example, we can see if you have made a purchase after clicking on the newsletter.
ActiveCampaign also allows us to segment (“cluster”) newsletter recipients based on various categories. For example, newsletter recipients can be segmented by age, gender, or place of residence. This way, newsletters can be better tailored to the respective target groups. If you do not want an analysis by ActiveCampaign, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this in every newsletter message.
For detailed information on ActiveCampaign's functions, please refer to the following link: https://www.activecampaign.com/email-marketing.
The ActiveCampaign Privacy Policy can be found at: https://www.activecampaign.com/privacy-policy.
Legal basis
The data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
Data transfers to the USA are based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can find details here: https://www.activecampaign.com/legal/newscc and https://www.activecampaign.com/de/legal/gdpr-updates/privacy-shield.

YouTube with enhanced privacy
This website embeds videos from the YouTube website. The operator of the website is Google Ireland Limited („Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When you visit one of these websites that embeds YouTube, a connection is made to YouTube's servers. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly associate your browsing behaviour with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
We are using YouTube in "enhanced privacy mode". According to YouTube, videos played in enhanced privacy mode are not used to personalise browsing on YouTube. Advertisements shown in enhanced privacy mode are also not personalised. No cookies are set in enhanced privacy mode. However, what are known as local storage elements are stored in the user's browser instead. These, similar to cookies, contain personal data and can be used for recognition. You can find details about enhanced privacy mode here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/171780.
If applicable, further data processing operations may be triggered after activating a YouTube video over which we have no control.

The provider of this website has no influence over this data transfer. If Google Maps is activated, Google may use Google Fonts for the purpose of displaying fonts uniformly. When you call up Google Maps, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
