Up to three technologies are used in stages during treatment:
First, an MFU treatment is carried out in deep skin layers. The effect is then enhanced by the exclusive Synergy Dotting – a simultaneous delivery of MFU + RF.
Optionally, precise RF microneedling can be added, for example, for scars, enlarged pores, or acne-prone skin.

Operating principle of micro-focussed ultrasound
NEW DOUBLO 2.0 utilises highly focused ultrasound energy which is precisely delivered into different skin layers – depending on the chosen treatment cartridge.
At these precise target points, tiny induced coagulation zones are created, which trigger immediate contraction of collagen fibres while simultaneously stimulating the regeneration of collagen and elastin. The result is visible tightening, firming and rejuvenation of the skin – without damaging the skin's surface and with a long-lasting lifting effect.

Passage 1: MFU - Micro-focussed ultrasound
Precisely focused ultrasound energy creates microscopic thermal coagulation points at various skin depths, activating collagen and elastin regeneration. Thanks to a high pulse repetition rate of up to 10 lines per second, the treatment process is exceptionally fast, efficient, and uniform. The application is minimally painful, and no anaesthesia is required. This initial pass lays the deep foundation for the firming effect – reaching where traditional methods cannot.
Passage 2: Synergy Dotting
Simultaneous combined application of MFU and RF energy. The so-called
Synergy Dotting Technology is uniquely and exclusively available worldwide in the NEW DOUBLO 2.0.
The energetic overlap leads to:

Passage 3: RF microneedling (optional)

RF Microneedling at the highest level
NEW DOUBLO 2.0 offers cutting-edge RF microneedling technology – precise, gentle on tissue, and highly effective. Thanks to particularly fine and sharp needles, the treatment is mostly bloodless, without scab formation, and with no downtime. The skin surface remains largely intact, while targeted thermal stimulation takes place at the desired skin depths.
Burst Multi Pulse Technology
Instead of releasing the entire energy at once, it is divided into several precisely timed micro-pulses. This allows the energy to be introduced into the tissue in a more controlled manner. The result: less heat generation on the surface, a lower risk of side effects, and more effective stimulation of collagen-producing structures in the deeper layers.
Multi Frequency Technology
The system is complemented by multi-frequency technology, which allows for flexible use of different radio frequency ranges.
